The Motion Deck Light comes in three finishes (white, pewter, and bronze) to comfortably match your existing décor.  The light housing is weatherized to prevent moisture penetration and fogging, and we’ve gone the extra mile to make it insect proof as well.  And you'll be able to install the battery powered light yourself in just minutes with the included screws, no need to call an electrician or run wires.  

Like our Deck Marker Light, the Motion Deck Light turns on in Low Glow mode at dusk, providing a gentle glow to mark the locations of steps, posts, or doorways.  The Motion Deck Light also includes a motion sensor which activates a bright mode, casting a wide pool of bright, glare-free light underneath the product.  The motion sensor has an effective angle of 160 degrees, and a range of 30 feet, which means the light will reliably brighten before you reach it, rather than activating once you’re already past.

The Motion Deck Light also allows you to select the brightness and duration of the bright mode.  For example, select thirty seconds of high brightness for paths, steps, and entryways, or five minutes of moderate brightness for living and entertaining spaces like porches, decks, and patios.  The motion sensing light will always check for motion before shutting off, ensuring that you won’t be left in the dark.  And in all but the heaviest use cases the Motion Deck Light will operate for more than a year, and possibly as long as two years, on a single set of batteries.
